Thinking of coming over to the UK for a run ashore while on my way to visit my ancestors origins in southern Ireland. Any advice for a r/v near airports etc for a good run? Ex leading signalman NZ Navy 1965 - 1975, including FES good mates on Fife.

I am the Honorary Curator of the HMS Collingwood Heritage Collection and have been asked to provide some information that is not readily available to me from the collection archives. In September 2016 Navy News there is an article on Page 44 headlined 'Did you serve at Jufair
Apparently the Navy is asking for dits, photos, etc. from anyone who served at the previous HMS Jufair. Info to be emailed to [email protected] and they will forward on to UKMCC
I didn't serve there but was on HMS Intrepid taking off the final staff when Jufair closed - 1971 - I think!!
