RNARS HMS Belfast

A message from Tom Taylor, Membership Sec.

Since 1971, HMS Belfast has been a museum warship on the Thames opposite the Tower of London. Since 1973, The RNARS (Royal Naval Amateur Radio Society)
have operated an amateur radio station from the Bridge Wireless Office. The people who man the BWO are members of the RNARS London (HMS Belfast) Group.

As Membership Secretary of the London Group, I am always on the lookout for new recruits to operate the station. Could you advise the RNCA membership of the existence of the Belfast, some may be interested in joining.
I am particularly interested in licenced radio amateurs who live in the Home Counties/local area and therefore would not have far to travel.

A preliminary heads-up can be had at the website with contact details.
